Lithuanian soldiers delivered aid to Chaparai villagers, Afghanistan

On January 20 Lithuanian-led PRT members assisted tean of Ghowr Governor Baz Mohammad Ahmadi to organise humanitarian aid for people in Chaparai village. Ssnowslide claimed several casualties there one week ago.

Food and blankets administered by the Village Affairs Department of Ghowr and PRT-6 were taken to the village by VH-206 as only those vehicles could reach Chaparai village heavily covered with snow. The aid was delivered by PRT-6 commander Col. Albertas Kondrotas, doctor from Chaghcharan hospital provided medical help for over 50 villagers.
