The Latvian Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development launched the second restricted call for proposals of the Estonia-Latvia-Russia cross-border co-operation program within the European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument, which get a budget of six million euros.
The program financially supports joint development activities from the years 2007-2013 in order to improve the region’s competitiveness by utilizing its potentially beneficial location between the European Union and Russia.
Eligible partners for the projects are national, regional and local authorities, associations, NGOs and nonprofits, educational organizations, and small and medium enterprises. Each project has to involve at least one partner in Russia and at least one partner in Estonia or Latvia.
The deadline for submitting projects is 27 February.
