Baltic American Freedom League Presidents Letter 2025
Dear Friends of the Baltic-American Freedom League,
This past year, the Baltic American Freedom League accomplished much to keep the
Baltics free. In April, we welcomed the Baltic Musketeers to our Awards Banquet where
Chairmen Mihkelson, Kohls, and Pavilionis bravely and honestly discussed the
importance of a free and unified Ukraine and what Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are
doing to ensure their security and freedom. Our partnership has continued as we have
coordinated an advanced many Congressional activities since April.
We launched a YouTube channel to provide educational media about Baltic issues such
as security, Suwalki Gap and the 35th anniversary of the Baltic Way with special guests
including Vytautas Landsbergis. We encourage you to subscribe as this will be an
important BAFL media outlet with timely and significant streaming this year.
On May 3, 2025, we are planning an international conference on the Future of US-Baltic
Security, Trade, and Technology. During this hybrid in-person and virtual event, we will
also announce our National Grassroots Campaign coordinating our chapters around the
United States to create a more local and impactful presence to advance our efforts.
We expect this year to be chaotic and fast-paced regarding Baltic and Ukrainian issues
due to our new President and Congress, and Russia’s continued attacks, interference
and disinformation campaigns. This will require more timely education and focused
advocacy to ensure our elected officials are well-informed on critical funding and issues
benefiting Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Your gift today of $100, $250, $500, $1000 or
