Lithuanians: Estonia’s euro entry a step away from Baltic sisters?

Even though the West still sees the three Baltic countries as one market, the countries took yet another step apart. On 1 January, Estonia entered the elite club – the Euro Zone, which shut the door on Lithuania in 2006, and the door will remain closed for at least three more years, Lietuvos rytas daily wrote in its editorial on 4 January, according to The Lithuania Tribune.
